Johanna M. Bustter, DVM
Dr. Bustter is originally from Puerto Rico. She graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor degree of Animal Science in 1996 and then received her Doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida in 2000.
Dr. Bustter then completed a medical and surgical internship at VCA Berwyn/Franklin Park in Chicago, Illinois in 2000 – 2001. She has been practicing veterinary medicine in the South Florida community for the past 17 years. In 2016, Dr. Bustter purchased Bow Meow Animal Hospital from the retiring Dr. Jaar. The hospital was then renamed to what is now know as Laguna Isles Animal Hospital.
Dr. Bustter has a special interest in Internal Medicine, Soft Tissue Surgery and Dentistry. Dr. Bustter is a guest columnist for the Our City Magazine Pembroke Pines edition. She writes a monthly column about pet health. On her time off she enjoys spending time with her family and her 2 dogs , RJ and Henry. Dr. Bustter is an avid sport fan. She enjoys following the Florida Gators.
Melissa Adamson, DVM
Dr Melissa Adamson is a native to Broward County Florida and graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Since graduation she has practiced general medicine in various animal hospitals in Broward County. She has a special interest in internal medicine, dentistry, feline medicine and end of life care.
In her free time Dr Adamson enjoys gardening and spending time with family and pets. She currently has a German Shepherd “Ciera” and few lovely fury cats.
